Winter weather is hastily headed this way, and the frigid temps have already arrived. Brrr! Now is the time to make sure your kiddo has the best snow boots this season to keep their tiny tootsies toasty and dry.
It's also essential to choose the correct size advises Dr. Velimir Petkov, Medical Director of Premier Podiatry. "When shopping for children's snow boots, you should choose boots that are half a size to a size larger than your child's foot size to allow room for thick socks. Our feet and hands tend to be the first body parts to get cold, so proper insulation is key," says Dr. Petkov. "One of the main concerns when walking or playing outside in the snow is falling. Foot and ankle injuries are extremely common in the cold months. Make sure that you select soles constructed of rubber that provide a good grip when confronted with moisture."
We've rounded up the cutest (and coziest), waterproof styles for boys and girls designed to withstand any outdoor winter activity when stepping foot in the cold. Let it snow!
