Welcome to the online home of Ken Polsson, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
This site is my contribution to the Internet's World-Wide Web online information resource.
Timelines
My primary hobby is researching a few topics and creating
timelines. I cycle my research time among the main subjects,
spending about a month on each one. I've been working on this since 1995, accumulating tens of thousands of individual items.
From the various timelines I have generated 365 files, one for each day of the year, with a main page that instantly jumps to today's date:

A & W Root Beer
I collect A & W Root Beer memorabilia, mainly glass root beer mugs.
I have assembled a brief history of the companies, and list in some detail the
various merchandise that has been used.
Coins
I collect "type" coins for lots of different countries. Type collecting is keeping one coin of each distinctive type, ignoring differences like year, mint mark, and small varieties. In support of this, I have also created virtual online collections, where you can see each type of coin for each denomination. I also have the detailed Canadian coins timeline, and few other pages.
Pop Culture References
Related to the timeline research, I have been recording "pop culture" references to certain topics, mainly in TV shows and movies.
Postage Stamps
I have collected world postage stamps since about 1970, and have recently started putting together some web sites.
Items For Sale
This is where I list my extra A & W Root Beer items for sale, plus
other items I collect or don't need any more.
Also, visit my Amazon.com online stores, where I have selected a few items from their online catalog, and given my comments about them:
Walt Disney
I have watched the Disney TV shows and movies since the late 1960s. I have been to Disneyland more times than I cam remember, to Walt Disney World twice, and one Disney Cruise. I have books, magazines, and plenty of interest in researching newspapers for events to add to my massive Disney company timeline.
Corvettes
I owned a 1976 Corvette for ten years, and consider myself "between Corvettes" at present. I continue to read books and magazines, watch Corvettes in races, and assemble my timeline and other web pages.
Video Games
I have played and read about video games since the days of the Atari 2600 in the late 1970s.
Climate Change
Is climate change real? Of course it is, the climate is not static, it is always changing. Is it man-made? That's the big question. I've done some investigating of the theories, claims, and skepticisms. Check out my climate change web site, with a start on notes from scientific literature.
