Currently it is an interest of Cuban sugarcane agriculture the introduction of conservationist methods during soil farming for the sowing of sugarcane. The localized ploughing of the soil done exclusively in the area of root growth of the seedlings is a viable alternative, both from the point of view of soil conservation, as well as the economics of energy resources dedicated to the preparation of large areas. With this aim, an implement has been developed having a row of four scarifiers, staggered from lower to greater depth, leaving a trapezoidal profile in the transverse plane of the soil removed, according to the demands for sowing. The objective of the work is to propose an implement for the localized ploughing of the soil with double row for sugarcane.

Kenya remains a nature-based tourism destination with wildlife concentrated in southern part of the country and beaches along the Indian Ocean. To spread tourism to other regions, the country has been divided into eight tourist circuits with diverse attractions. It is expected that each circuit appeals to unique markets. Perhaps it would be futile for the country to target a common market for these circuits. The objective of this study was to segment the tourist market for the North Rift Highlands, part of the Western Kenya Tourist Circuit, basing on the purpose of visit. Clusterbased analysis utilized information from 206 tourist respondents randomly selected through multi-stage sampling technique. The major segment in North Rift Highlands was found to be Sports, followed by the Holiday segment. Tourists to the region were also found to mostly originate from Germany, and were independent. These findings are not congruent with those of other regions, signifying that destinations within Kenya match certain unique demands that require target marketing.

Accurate prediction of protein secondary structure and other one-dimensional structure features is essential for accurate sequence alignment, three-dimensional structure modeling, and function prediction. SPINE-X is a software package to predict secondary structure as well as accessible surface area and dihedral angles ϕ and ψ. For secondary structure SPINE-X achieves an accuracy of between 81 and 84 % depending on the dataset and choice of tests. The Pearson correlation coefficient for accessible surface area prediction is 0.75 and the mean absolute error from the ϕ and ψ dihedral angles are 20(∘) and 33(∘), respectively. Correspondingly, the inverse function Z(v) has an associated canonical polynomial sequence. The coefficients of the two sequences form two mutually inverse infinite matrices. We detail the operator calculus for the pair of systems, illustrating the duality of operators and variables between them. Examples are presented including a connection between Gegenbauer and Bessel polynomials. Touchard polynomials appear as well. Alternative settings would include an umbral calculus approach as well as the Riordan group. Here we use the approach through operator calculus.

Epilepsy is a disorder that occurs as such excessive not controlled from some or all central nervous system. Epilepsy is characterized by entering transient voltage to wave (spike and sharp wave) that are usually called epileptic spike. Detection and classifying of epileptic spike by using visual screening of EEG record is a work that complex and many time-consuming. This Research detect patterns epileptic spike in EEG signal of patients with epilepsy with the method wavelet transform through detection test result against gold standards using the detectability and selectivity.
