Celena Rae
Anthem Singer and In-Game Host

Celena Rae, a Fort Worth native and established talent on the local pro sports scene, serves as the Dallas Stars' in-game host and national anthem singer.

Prior to joining the Stars for the 2005-06 season, Rae was a semifinalist on American Idol in 2005, and has since toured the country singing and performing with various artists while pursuing her music career.

Jeff K
Public Address Announcer

Jeff K has been with the Dallas Stars for more than a decade, first as Music Director, then In-Game Host, and now Public Address Announcer.

Besides being the in-arena voice for the Stars, Jeff is also a longtime Dallas-Fort Worth radio personality. You can hear him weekday afternoons from 3 to 7 p.m. on Lone Star 92.5-FM.

Jeff enjoys the quiet life in Plano with his wife, Carrie. Their daughter, Marselle, recently graduated from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

Jonathon "Shippy" Shipman
Music Director

Jonathon "Shippy" Shipman was born and raised in Plano, Texas. He's been a diehard Stars fan his whole life, so becoming the Music Director for the Stars is a dream come true. He attended high school at Plano Senior High School (go Wildcats) and graduated in 2009. After high school, Shippy attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism with an emphasis in TV. A college internship with the Ben and Skin show would eventually lead him to producing....the Ben and Skin show!

Shippy spent seven great years as the board operator for the Ben and Skin show and developed a love for timely drops, fun facts, dad jokes and whatever other craziness he could fit on the air. He's hoping to bring that same crazy, fun vibe to the American Airlines Center.

Shippy is also employed by Bally Sports Southwest as an audio engineer and he also DJs at a few different DFW establishments. Whenever he's not working (rare), you'll typically find him relaxing with his family and friends.
