Community Spotlight presents the opportunity to highlight important causes throughout the year by recognizing local restaurants, businesses and noteworthy community initiatives.
It's Latin Heritage Month. To celebrate we will be highlighting Hispanic-owned businesses in the Greater-Phoenix area!

Cardinals Conversations
In celebration of each heritage month, the Arizona Cardinals host an ongoing panel series called Arizona Cardinals Conversations. Arizona Cardinals Conversations provides the opportunity to educate and inspire the community through meaningful conversations with local professionals who exemplify success in their respective industries.
Adele Harris Scholarship
In 2021, the Arizona Cardinals introduced the "Adele Harris Scholarship" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Harris becoming the first African American female to hold a front office position in the NFL.
Each year, the Arizona Cardinals will award one student who is interested in pursuing a career within the sports industry, a one-time $10,000 scholarship to be used to pursue an undergraduate degree. The scholarship is to be used toward education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and/or board. Payments will be made directly to the institution
High School Player and Coach of the Week
The Cardinals weekly High School Player and Coach of the Week program presents a selected high school player and coach with a certificate signed by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Cardinals Owner Michael Bidwill and Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury. Cardinals Cheerleaders, Cardinals team mascot Big Red and Cardinals alumni will take part in the presentation each week at the winning school.
Community Quarterback Award
The Arizona Cardinals Community Quarterback Award recognizes outstanding volunteers in the state of Arizona ages 13 and up. This program honors individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication, and commitment to improving the communities in which they live through volunteerism.
Milk & Cookies Presented by SRP and Albertsons-Safeway
The Arizona Cardinals, SRP and Albertsons-Safeway have teamed up for 20 years to implement a reading program called Milk & Cookies! The Milk & Cookies reading program encourages reading and promotes the importance of reading literacy. The chosen school will receive milk & cookies for the classroom (while following the school's COVID guidelines). Big Red, Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders and Current or Former Arizona Cardinals players will get the students excited about reading before sitting down to read books to the students. At the conclusion of the readings, they will open up for a brief Q&A before leaving the students to enjoy their milk & cookies!
MVPs In The Classroom
The MVPs in the Classroom sweepstakes presented by University of Phoenix recognizes outstanding educators in the state of Arizona. Three lucky educators will be honored at each Arizona Cardinals regular season home game and will each receive: Four game tickets with parking, four pre-game field passes, an Arizona Cardinals jersey and $500 towards classroom supplies. Classroom All-Stars
The Classroom All-Stars sweepstakes presented by University of Phoenix recognizes outstanding students in the state of Arizona. 50 lucky students will be honored at an Arizona Cardinals regular season home game and will each receive: Four game tickets with parking. 50/50 Raffle
At every Cardinals home game, Cardinals Charities selects a different beneficiary for the 50/50 raffle held in-stadium. Half of the total funds raised benefit the various local organizations selected through Cardinals Charities while the other half goes to a lucky winner.
Arizona Cardinals Women's Club
The Arizona Cardinals Women's Club is comprised of significant others of Arizona Cardinals players and coaches who actively serve the community through engaging volunteerism and philanthropic efforts. The women help represent the Arizona Cardinals off of the field and are dedicated to improving the quality of life and enhancing opportunities for children, women and underprivileged families within the state of Arizona.
Hall of Fame/Cardinals Educational Outreach Program
The Pro Football Hall of Fame and an Educational Advisory Panel consisting of nine teachers, five of which are National Board Certified Teachers, have designed a free Activity Guide for teachers to utilize in the classroom.
Cardinals Alumni
Former Cardinals make community appearances and attend a variety of Cardinal events throughout Arizona.
Cardinals License Plates
Order your Arizona Cardinals license plate and a portion of the cost will benefit Cardinals Charities.
