Want to write about the tech you love with a group of people you’ll actually like? Apply to work at Android Police!

Android Police is the best place to read Android-related news, reviews, how-tos, and buyer’s guides, and has been since it was founded in 2010. That’s because the work we do is not only meant to inform but entertain, to remind you that this stuff we love so much — the technology that has upended our lives over the past decade — is, above all, just plain fun to use. We want to make reading Android Police as enjoyable and interesting as it is for us to work on.

We also know that Android, and mobile technology in general, impacts all spheres of life, from home life to work to travel to politics to fashion and beyond. Everyone who works at Android Police arrives with their own unique set of skills and experiences and leverages those assets to build the most incredible work culture on the internet. We love working with experienced reporters and passionate novices alike and have helped grow the careers of dozens of brilliant news writers, product reviewers, researchers, editors, and more, along the way.

We’ve broken open frauds, leaked upcoming products, interviewed executives and some of the most creative people in the Android community, and maybe even pissed a few people off, too, by being relentlessly honest and ethical in our coverage of the growing and ever-changing tech industry.

Android Police is an equal opportunity employer, committed to building an inclusive community. If you’re the kind of person who wants to be a part of that close-knit community, we’d love to hear from you!

Here’s What People Are Saying About Android Police

How To Write For Android Police

We are looking for people who are, above all, passionate about technology. That includes Android, yes, but AP’s focus goes far beyond what it says on the tin. We cover phones, tablets, wearables, smart home, and personal audio like wireless earbuds and speakers. We cover Google, because it’s one of the most important companies in the world. We cover 5G, that nebulous technology standard that keeps our wireless world moving. We cover mobile gaming and apps, and the developers who make those incredible, unforgettable experiences. If you have interest in any of these areas, and think you’d be a great fit for our team, we want to hear from you.

Writing experience is obviously a benefit to a job like this, and the more experience you have, the more we’ll be able to pay you for your time. Freelance rates are competitive and negotiable, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your desired rates if you’re the perfect person for Android Police.
