    Ontario Disability Support Program offers:

    • Funding to help you and your eligiblefamily members with living expenses,including food, and rent;
    • Health benefits, including prescriptiondrugs and vision care;
    • Employment support to help you find andkeep a job or advance your career.

    If you are eligible for ODSP, the amount offunding you receive will depend on yourspecific situation.

    • WEEK 1: Under the Sea
      Take a trip under the sea where schools of fish, octopuses and anemones  thrive! Enjoy activties and help create a coral reef library display!
    • WEEK 2: Be a Pirate!
      Ahoy swashbucklers! Ye be in for a treat! Time to discover your inner pirate through stories, games and activities.
    • WEEK 3: Ocean Monsters & Giants
      Dive into the world of the biggest creatures in the oceans. Learn about what lurks below and make your own giant Jellyfish!
    • WEEK 4: Swamp Life!
      Splash into a lively wetland world where frogs leap, turtles roam, and swamp creatures hide among the reeds! Create your own paper plate turtle, enjoy colouring sheets, and go on a seek-and-find hunt for hidden swamp animals.
    • WEEK 5: Myths & Legends
      Are they real? Get ready to explore fascinating myths and legends from Atlantis to Bigfoot and everything in between.
    • WEEK 6: Arctic Adventures
      Bundle up for a frosty adventure in the Arctic, where polar animals and snowy surprises await! Create your own paper plate walrus, try a cool blubber STEM experiment, and set off on an exciting Arctic scavenger hunt.
    • WEEK 7: Explore the Deep
      Explore the deep dark secrets of the ocean!  How does marine life thrive in this vast dark place?  Make glow in the dark crafts and learn how to keep these ocean creatures safe

Request Withdrawn Materials

CLMA provides withdrawn/discarded library materials for drop-in centres, youth homes, schools, and other community agencies in Clarington and Durham Region.

To request these materials for your organization, please fill out the Withdrawn Materials Form

Please note that our ability to fulfill materials requests depends on what we have available at the time of request. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfill your request.
