What fundamental GitHub skills or workflows (like branching, rebasing, or testing) are most critical for students trying to join a large open-source project like Zephyr?

How does the Zephyr Project handle security and vulnerability patching across so many different IoT architectures?

Question if I may? Open source for ten years is one hell of a project to still be active. in the beginning, were there times where seeing the success of this project seem unlikely and if so what did you do to stay hopeful / positive to remain encouraged?

Zephyr deserves more attention from the web and AI side of the industry than it gets. Coming from a computer engineering background, the useful thing about working on an RTOS is that it forces you to be honest about memory and timing in a way that my Python work almost never does. Will catch this one.

Great topic. Curious how Zephyr stays portable across so many architectures.

I appreciate the insight. I have only been using github for about a year, but I now maintain seventy five repo's, many of which overlap and support each other and so This is like a history lesson still being taught for me.

Are there moments where the team has been divided about certain decisions made and how what difficulties if any, were there and was everyone capable of finding common ground before inadvertently creating tension?

From your experience, what advice would you give to open-source builders in the AI era to keep going? Would you recommend going commercial or staying purely open source?
