About Me

Hi, I'm Mufida — I build things for the web and make sure everyone can use them.

Right now I'm a Software Development Engineer at NEOGOV, building scalable cloud-native applications with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. I focus on large backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. I build microservices for HR tasks like hiring and onboarding.

I graduated with Dean's Honour from Lambton College (Toronto) with hands-on experience in the MERN stack. Since then I've been teaching myself Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma — building stuff like an AI chatbot (you can try it!), an expense tracker with Gemini AI, and a Spring Boot financial dashboard.
