How does pricing work?
One plan, two dials. $99/month gets you a full-autopilot teammate on all four channels for one project. Add a teammate for $99/month each (a person on your team, with their own accounts and voice), and a project for $39/month each (another product you market). The first teammate and first project are included in the base. No tiers, no per-draft charges, no credit meters.
What counts as a teammate versus a project?
A teammate is a person on your team who uses Thread Otter: they connect their own accounts and get their own voice profile, so the drafts sound like them. A project is a product you market: its own context, voice, watches, and inbox. A solo founder with one product pays $99. A founder with five products pays $99 + 4 × $39. A three-person team on one product pays $99 + 2 × $99.
Does it really send on autopilot?
Yes. Otter replies, DMs, and posts on Reddit, X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky through the extension in your own logged-in browser, from accounts you connect, at a pace you control. Autonomy is per channel: full autopilot, or approve-first so you review the words before they ship. Approve-first is free on every plan; most founders start there and hand over the keys once they have watched it work.
Will this get my accounts banned?
What gets accounts banned is spam volume and copy-paste slop. Otter sends from your own logged-in browser at a per-account human pace with daily caps and jitter, a sameness guard blocks near-duplicate replies, and a judge rejects anything generic before it ships. No bot farm, no rented accounts, no shared sessions.
Are drafts really uncapped?
Yes. We charge per teammate and per project, not per draft. Otter can work every qualified thread it finds. Fair-use applies for genuine abuse, but there is no published draft cap and no per-draft overage.
How does it learn my voice?
It starts from posts you have actually written, then every edit you make before a send adds a corrective signal. Over a few weeks the drafts converge on your real tone, grounded in your live site, docs, pricing, and changelog (plus any files or Notion pages you add). Per project, never trained into a shared model.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Pay annually and get 2 months free (roughly 17% off) on both teammates and projects. You can switch between monthly and annual anytime.
What about agencies or lots of projects?
The two-number model scales cleanly, but past a handful of projects or a full team it is usually worth a quick conversation about bulk pricing. Email hi@threadotter.com and we will size it to you. Enterprise controls (SSO, roles, support SLAs) are on the way.
Can I switch or cancel anytime?
Yes. Add or remove teammates and projects whenever you want; upgrades prorate immediately, downgrades take effect at the end of the cycle. Cancel anytime. The 7-day free trial (no card) is there so you decide before paying.
