The notifications tray/section is transparent. I expect the notifications section to have a solid background per the rest of the app design

🤖 Kiro Crew Auto-Pipeline [operator: bolichen97]: Reproduced by inspection — the notification sheet is a .glass-surface panel (App.tsx:744), and that class carries no opaque background of its own: its background is a very low-alpha gradient (rgba(0,0,0,0.05) → rgba(0,0,0,0.02), or rgba(255,255,255,0.08) → 0.03 in dark themes) and all of the actual opacity comes from backdrop-filter: blur(10px) saturate(140%) (index.css:1876-1888). Wherever backdrop-filter does not take effect — which is the common case for Electron on Linux without a working compositor, and for GPU-disabled/software-rendering AppImage launches — the declaration is simply ignored and what remains is a ~3-5% tint, i.e. the see-through panel in your screenshot. There is no @supports guard for this anywhere in the stylesheet, though the correct fallback already exists twice for the accessibility cases: prefers-reduced-transparency and prefers-contrast: more both drop the blur and set background: var(--bg) (lines 1969-1975). Starting an automated fix: add a feature-query fallback so every .glass-surface / .topbar-glass panel gets the solid themed background when backdrop-filter is unsupported, following that established pattern. This issue is now claimed by bolichen97's instance.

Opened #2569 with a fix: an @supports not (backdrop-filter) fallback that gives the glass surfaces (notification cards, glass panels, topbar) a solid themed background wherever the engine does not support backdrop-filter — mirroring the existing reduced-transparency accessibility fallback. Verified with asserting Playwright screenshots of both branches (glass unchanged where supported, solid where not).
