OBS Studio 32.2 Beta is now available! Windows/macOS users can switch Update Channel in settings. GitHub: github.com/obsproject/obs… This update includes a brand new window for adding sources. Please test and give us feedback on our Discord before the full release!

This update also has some adjustments to how libraries are loaded that may have unintended side effects for certain plugins loading properly. We are working to resolve any issues that come up so PLEASE test the beta and let us know of any issues.

OBS Studio 32.1 is now available! Alongside the usual tweaks and fixes, this release continues our steady work tidying up the codebase. This release features a complete rewrite of the Audio Mixer, cleaning up code, and adding new functionality.

As noted in the thread, this only affects downloads of these resources via the forums. While the obs-websocket forum resource was briefly affected, only about 80 downloads of that occurred. The version of obs-websocket bundled with OBS and available via GitHub was NOT affected

I've seen a few posts about this go viral over the last month so I wanna give some more details. tl;dr This is a known issue we're working on and there are two core issues at play. We have a fix for both that is the final stages of testing and review.

OBS Studio 32 is now available! This release comes with our initial version of the Plugin Manager! We've also made additions and optimizations to NVIDIA RTX filters, and added hybrid MOV support. Full changelog and details can be found here:

New users will start with better default settings! Our crash resistant Hybrid MP4 video container (Hybrid MOV on macOS) is now the default recording format. We also decided it's probably safe to bump up the default streaming bitrate to 6000 after being set to 2500 since 2015.
