UrthPRO Cleaner, Disinfectant & Fungicide is a combination of grain-based ethyl alcohol, a coconut oil-based cleaning agent, lavender oil and purified water. Individually, these ingredients have been utilized in food production for decades, but when combined, a synergistic effect between these well-chosen components is responsible for its fast-acting antimicrobial action and superb cleaning ability. UrthPRO began with the goal of making a product to kill germs on food to prevent spoiling. The original product was a food additive which could only be made from ingredients that were Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the US Federal Department of Agriculture (FDA). The product kept food from spoiling well past expected expiration dates, but why stop there? We had this amazingly effective product that killed germs, cleaned, deodorized, and was surprisingly gentle! It only seemed natural to revamp the application and turn it into the product you know and love as UrthPRO Cleaner, Disinfectant & Fungicide!

Don’t all disinfectants “clean as they disinfect”?

NO! This is a common misconception of products that kill germs. THEY DON’T ALWAYS WORK WHEN DIRT OR OTHER SOILS ARE PRESENT! In fact, most REQUIRE a pre-cleaning step to be effective. UrthPRO™ CDF works in the presence of soils, and does not require a pre-cleaning step…again, making your job easier!

YES. EPA Registration No. 84368-1. Any product making claims to prevent, destroy, repel, or mitigate any pest (I,e, bacteria, mold, fungi, viruses) MUST be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) according to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
