OSCE supports establishment of student council on water and climate and strengthens capacity of young professionals in Tajikistan

On 2 - 3 April 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, in close co-operation with the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan and the Tajikistan’s Agrarian University, organized a two-day event in Dushanbe aimed at strengthening youth engagement and professional development in the water sector.

“Ambassador for a Day” initiative dedicated to the development of AI in Tajikistan and women in technology brings together future women-diplomats in Dushanbe

Third cohort of girls-activists are selected to spend a day with leaders in diplomacy within the "Ambassador for a Day" initiative. This year the embassies, diplomatic missions and offices of international organizations invited nine finalists of an open video contest to join these entities on April 09th, 2026, to experience being an Ambassador for a day, gaining first-hand insight into diplomatic work, leadership, and global issues.
