Google Safe Browsing （グーグル セーフ ブラウジング）は、危険なウェブサイトにアクセスしようとしたり、危険なファイルをダウンロードしようとしたりした場合に警告を発するGoogleのサービス。
サービスの中核として、Googleはマルウェアやフィッシングコンテンツを含むURLのリストを保持している。[1][2] この保護機能はGoogle製品全体で機能し、Googleは「インターネット全体でより安全なブラウジング体験を実現する」と述べている。 Googleは、このサービス向けに公開APIを提供している。 Google Chrome[3] 、Safari[4] 、Firefox[5] 、Vivaldi、Brave[6]等は、Google Safe Browsingによってページの潜在的な脅威をチェックしている。
Googleは、セーフブラウジングデータを活用し、ウェブサイトが改ざんされたりマルウェアに感染したりした際にウェブマスターへ警告を通知する。これにより、サイトの所有者は不正な攻撃に迅速に気づき、被害の拡大を防ぐための復旧手順を実行することが可能になる。[7][8] Googleは、ネットワーク上でホストされている脅威に関する電子メールアラートを自律システムオペレーターに送信することで、インターネットサービスプロバイダにセーフブラウジング情報も提供している。[2]
2017年9月時点で、30億台以上のインターネット端末がこのサービスを利用している。[9] 中国ではTencent、ロシアではYandexによる代替サービスが存在する。[10]
