ചെക്ക്‌ റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കിലെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാഷയാണ് ചെക്ക് ഭാഷ (Czech /tʃɛk/; čeština Czech pronunciation: [ˈtʃɛʃcɪna]). നേരത്തെ ഈ ഭാഷ ബൊഹീമിയൻ (Bohemian, ലത്തീനിൽ ലിൻഗ്വാ ബൊഹോമിക്ക lingua Bohemica)[6] (/boʊˈhiːmiən, bə-/;[7] എന്നും അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇന്തോ യൂറോപ്യൻ കുടുംബത്തിലെ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ സ്ലാവിക് ശാഖയിലുൾപ്പെട്ട ഭാഷയാണ് ചെക്ക്. ഏകദേശം ഒരു കോടിയിലേറെ ജനങ്ങളാൽ സംസാരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നന്ന ഭാഷയാണിത്. സ്ലൊവാക് ഭാഷയുമായി വളരെ സാമ്യമുണ്ട്.[8]
