Sports
[change | change source]NC State sports date back to 1900. The student body (which includes athletes!) is known as the "Wolfpack". This is because the students who watch the games are said to be rabid with support, like a pack of wolves!
NC State boasts the largest public stadium in the North Carolina. Carter Finley Stadium routinely packs in over 50,000.
The three most popular sports to watch around the school and around Raleigh are Wolfpack Women's Basketball, Wolfpack Men's Basketball, and Wolfpack football. The three most hated sports are UNC basketball, UNC football, and Duke basketball.
