There were so many parties and events celebrating the 81st Annual Academy Awards. None however could claim the presence of budding singer-starlet, Charice Pempengco and big band singer, Michael Buble who performed last night at Leeza Gibbons post-Oscar “A Night to Make a Difference” Party at Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills.
You may remember Charice for her amazing performance on Oprah’s “Search For The World’s Smartest Most Talented Kids”. She was brought to Oprah’s attention by David Foster, songwriter/producer, and 15-time Grammy Award Winner.
Charice performed her brand new single, “Fingerprint” for the crowd. Even with enough planning things can still go wrong in showbiz, her single was interrupted twice because of audio malfunctions but the girl kept on going! She recovered the interruption with an a stellar performance of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.” Her voice is breathtaking, so keep her eye out on this one!
Soon after Charice’s performance, big band singer Michael Buble graced the stage to sing his hit “Save The Last Dance For Me.” He is utterly amazing and his performance was adorable!
