The last message for Pakistan
War and violence is not a solution to anything at all. War is imposed on Pakistan from outside as is the reaction to that war carefully engineered by the same forces. This combination of war and counter violence is called the ‘war within Pakistan.’ Peace is the only answer to the imposed war and planned balkanization of the country. Read more »

US-UK state terror in Pakistan
Gabriel Carlyle - Peace News
While newspapers and politicians fulminate against the terrorist threat to Britain that supposedly emanates from Pakistan, few British commentators have even noticed the large-scale state terrorism being practised in Pakistan by the US and Britain – and the Pakistani government (under pressure from Washington).
When referred to at all – usually in passing – Pakistani government actions in the border Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) are usually referred to, euphemistically, as the “vigorous pursuit of militants” or the like. Read more….

Rehman Malik
Rahman Malik has emerged as a highly controversial figure in the PPP set up. Besides being a NAB defaulter and an absconder, he is unelected and yet holds most powerful Ministry of Interior. He was instrumental in trying to get bye-polls due in May 2008 postponed to August. The decision had to be reversed when chief minister NWFP spilled the beans that he had never asked for postponement. On another occasion, he in a truculent mood announced that Swat peace deal had been scrapped, whereas in actuality no such thing had happened in that timeframe but he disclosed the wish of USA prematurely. In the wake of raised tempers of USA after the suicide attack on Indian Embassy in Kabul in July 2008 in which the ISI was squarely blamed, Malik and Hussain Haqqani prevailed upon Zardari to place ISI and IB under Ministry of Interior to placate US leadership and to level the maiden visit of Gilani to Washington.
Malik is rumored to be an agent of MI-6 and CIA and has been given the powerful portfolio on the express orders of his foreign mentors to serve their vested interests. The protective loop around him is so strong that he got away with 18th October blast Karachi, Benazir murder on 27th December, Marriot blast in September 2008, 3/3 terrorists attack in Lahore and 15th March failure. His head should have been rolled many a times for the unpardonable lapses. It is strange that he has not been put in the dock or even grilled on the murder of Benazir since he was her chief security adviser and primarily responsible for her safety. His behavior on that fateful day was highly mysterious and suspicious. Had he an iota of moral courage he should have resigned after repeated security debacles but he refuses to call it a day. Which Government is running Pakistan? Pakistan Peoples Party or Rehman Malik?
Any minister with record of Rehman Malik at Long March would have been required to resign.
What is Rehaman Malik’s power base??

Obama, Osama and Medvedev
For those who harbored any doubts, the Barack Obama administration’s adoption of the George W Bush framework of the “war on terror” - it does feel like a back-to-the-future “continuity” - here are two key facts on the ground. Read more »

At war with ‘official’ Pakistan
Tempering its recent rhetoric, India on Friday blamed “official Pakistan”, as distinct from the political leadership, for the problems of unabated cross-border terrorism, and clarified that it had no quarrel with the people of Pakistan. In fact, it wished them well.
Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee, however, told Indian parliament, that the government remained committed to the Lok Sabha’s December resolution on the Mumbai massacre. “India shall not cease in her efforts until the terrorists and those who have trained, funded and abetted them are exposed and brought to justice”. more….
Note the new distinction between official and political Pakistan. It means the sold our Pakistan is political Pakistan. And the Pakistan that is somewhat hurdle in the way of foreign aggression against Pakistan is being termed as ‘official” Pakistan.
The Pakistan that prostrates; that submits; that sells and kills its people is ‘good,’ ‘acceptable’ ‘political’ Pakistan. And the Pakistan that resists any attempt at undermining its sovereignty and independence is ‘official’ and ‘terrorist’ Pakistan, which must be attacked, undermined, and dismembered.
So ‘official’ Pakistan is the Pakistan, which is the high value target. The political figures which are part and parcel of the plan to undermine Pakistan are embrace-able stooges, who could be collectively ‘honoured’ as ‘political’ Pakistan.

Pakistan’s problem is not what Obama wants us to believe
Read the following news report about a father’s committing suicide because he couldn’t get a job for one week. He couldn’t feed his starving children. He could not even borrow a little flour from his neighbours. And in utter desperation, hanged himself from a ceiling fan.
Pakistan’s problem is not what Obama is telling the world. Al-Qaeda never existed in the form and structure described by the CIA and the controlled media. Al-Qaeda of patsies, CIA backed terrorists and mercenaries does exist and that facilitate the war of terrorism for total global domination.
Of course, there is armed resistance in the country but that has nothing to do with Al-Qaeda. It is the direct result of lack of opportunities, disparity, grinding poverty, desperation and oppression and tyranny of the puppet regime. If one father can commit suicide for being unable to feed his children, why can’t another pick up arms if his house is destroyed, his children butchered and his life ruined. This is all that it takes to keep producing more and more ”terrorists.”
Billions are being wasted in terrorising innocent people and creating more terrorists while many children in Pakistan are starving to death. Pakistanis are the victims of skewed priorities. Pakistan is the victim of systematic and organized effort directed at undermining its very existence. Not that no one knows the real issues and problem. No that people in pwoer do not know the root causes of the problem. It is that addressing the root causes is not the priority at all. Read more »

Why Won’t President Obama’s Stimulus Work
So, now that we finally understand money better than all the economics Nobel laureates and lauded financiers put together, if President Obama were to ask for my brilliant advice instead of listening to the FED Chair or his own Treasury Sec., never one to be falsely modest, I would very profoundly tell him: “Kill the Bank!”

War Crimes: From Sabra and Shatila to Gaza
There has been little outcry or outrage, however, by the world media who salivate at every facet of Paris Hilton or Britney Spear’s inane lives. There was little outcry or condemnation from the leaders of the so-called “free world”, as the Israeli Zionist state systematically violated (and continues to violate) the Fourth Geneva Convention and uses state terrorism to kill thousands of unarmed civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Why? Because in Gaza, as in Beirut, the victims were Palestinian – a “un-people” whose lives are expendable and not as worthy as other human beings. From Sabra and Shatila to Gaza and the West Bank today, the Israeli state and its occupation forces have continued to violate the political, civil, economic, social, cultural and human rights of the Palestinian people with impunity. They have been encouraged in this by the leaders of the “free world” who have looked on in silence, turning a blind eye to the war crimes being carried out by the Israeli state. Read more>>>

White Phosphorus and the moral and legal standards
Medics in Gaza say they have treated more than 50 people suffering burns caused by controversial white phosphorus shells, a claim backed up by a report of the New York-based Human Rights Watch.
Mark Regev, spokesman for Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, said Israel was only using legal weapons of the type used by other Western armies.
The problem here is the use of moral and legal benchmark. If Israel looks to the handy work of “Western armies’ as its moral bench-mark then it is well within the “moral” and “legal” limits and Gaza must brace for and 21st century Final solution.
The problem is that there is no crime known to us which the “western” armies have not committed against the humanity. They have firebombed cities and turned them to ashes. They have killed millions upon millions in colonial occupations. They have nuked and erased two cities off the face of earth. Israel-pushers recently lied through their teeth and invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, killing more then a million people so far. They imposed genocidal sanction on Iraq and publicly accepted that starving half a million innocent children to death is “worth it.”
So all power to you Israel! You still have a long way to go to beat the record of “western” armies. Compared to them what you are presently doing is just baby scout work.

‘And now for a world government’
A bit of high-school level few studious nights homework would reveal that all three items on Mr. Gideon Rachman’s list are elaborately manufactured fictions. To know that a) global warming, is a politically motivated global fiction, or at best, of a highly contentious nature among scientists themselves and therefore, hardly a scientific fact upon which such a monumental global policy as world-government can be advocated, begin at Steve Watson’s short news story ‘Over 650 Scientists Challenge Global Warming “Consensus”’, and download PDF of the full 231 page report released December 11, 2008, titled: ‘U. S. Senate Minority Report: More Than 650 International Scientists Dissent Over Man-Made Global Warming Claims - Scientists Continue to Debunk “Consensus” in 2008′. Or read its Introduction Chapter here. To learn that b) global financial crisis, is deliberately manufactured, the Monetary Reform Bibliography contains sufficient references and perspective which ties it all together. To understand that c) global war on terror, is synthetic and fabricated, read the minuscule compilation of Project Humanbeingsfirst’s reports which succinctly unravels it all: The WAR on TERROR 2008 Omnibus Collection (PDF). ‘You don’t have to be a Jew to be a Zionist’: Biden
While Biden are proud to be a Zionist, Jews are saying Zionists are enemies of Jews.
Moreover, those who don’t know must note that Joe Biden met ISI Chief Mahmood Ahmed on September 13, 2001 - who was in US on 9/11 and who transfered $100,000 to the alleged lead hi-jacker, Atta. So Biden has a close connection with Operation 9/11 in which ISI was used as well as entraped at the same time. See From BCCI to ISI: the Saga of Entrapment Continues in the book download section for more details.
Moreover, this man and his boss have yet to open their mouths on the mounting crimes against humanity in occupied palestine. whereas Criticism of Israel’s conduct mounts; UN human rights chief accuses Israel of war crimes and a majority of non-Muslim analysts are concluding that Israel is committing war crimes. Yet Biden and Obama have yet to open their mouth. Silence over the war or its justification is as criminal as the war itself. See: Israel’s bombardment of Gaza is not self-defence – it’s a war crime

The Monstrosity of War
by Dahr Jamail
….From Iraq, I had reported on how the US military regularly blockaded cities during military operations, disconnecting power, food, water and medical supplies. Let us not forget the March 2003 US invasion of Iraq followed 12 and a half years of genocidal sanctions against that country, which claimed the lives of half a million children. The people of Iraq, like the people of Gaza, had been placed on a “diet.”
Back in Gaza, the International Committee for the Red Cross said on Sunday its medical emergency team had been prevented by the Israeli military for a third day from entering the territory. Here again, is an uncanny similarity with the situation in Iraq, particularly during the two US sieges of Fallujah during 2004, when medical and aid teams were not allowed into the city, and teams already inside were regularly targeted by the military when they attempted to rescue the wounded….

“A Human-made Disaster of Great Proportions”
Dr. Mads Gilbert: “It is not true that sufficient aid is coming through. Aid is not the most important thing now. The most important thing now, also from a medical point of view, is to guarantee the safety of the Palestinian population in Gaza and to stop the bombing. Number two is to open the borders. And number three, of course, is to restore the public services and the health facilities. This is a very serious situation and when and if there were ground invasion it goes from dire to disasterous.”
“We do have indications that Israelis are using a new type of weapon with an enormous explosive power that is having a devastating effect on the body.”
“Among the killed, 21% of them are women or children…. Among the 2000 injured, 40% are women and children….They are the targets and they are the victims.”

We Lived to Tell the Story, Part 11
by Cynthia McKinney
January 1, 2009 - We Lived to Tell the Story: Lebanon Rescued Us
Yesterday, we met with the President of Lebanon, the Chief of the Military, and the Interior Minister who all thanked us for responding and risking our lives on a mission of mercy; we profusely thanked them for rescuing us.
What would we have done, stranded out at sea, prohibited from reaching our destination, low on fuel, with a badly damaged boat if Lebanon had not accepted us? Lebanon sent their ships to find us. Lebanon rescued us. Lebanon welcomed us. And we are truly thankful.

Israel, Gaza and “Moral Clarity”
In a Washington Post op-ed, Moral Clarity in Gaza, Charles Krauthammer makes several claims that would be startling if they weren’t already so well-worn and easily disproven. So really they are only startling in that anyone still has the gall and the nerve to continue using them, and yet he does, and Israel’s massive PR strategy seems built on such nonsense. And too many readers believe them because it is repeated so frequently and so strongly and with not enough op-op-ed pieces to challenge them. So these responses are offered for anyone who wishes to challenge such claims whenever and wherever they come across them:
