What: Biblically influenced first-person shooter. Details: In a complex storyline that jumbles Old Testament prophecy with spaceships and Gothic locales, you, a "Chosen Angel" named Malachi, must stop a group of Fallen Angels from causing Armageddon. So it's up to you to travel through Chaos (a hellish landscape of tortured souls) to Creation (a futuristic version of present-day Earth) and save humanity. As in Half-Life, the macabre, movie-style plot requires you to think as well as shoot. Requiem, however, certainly earns the "Mature" rating on its box: In addition to an Earthly arsenal of hi- tech weapons, Malachi can summon over 20 angelic powers, which will make the enemy's blood boil, turn his body to salt, or set loose a swarm of flesh-eating locusts. …
