The Syrian National Army began sending hundreds of fighters with their weapons to the two engagement fronts in the southeastern countryside of Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo to help repel the Russian military campaign backed by Iranian militias.
"The first group of the First Legion fighters was sent to reinforce the defense lines in the western countryside of Aleppo," in a statement to "Call of Syria", the leader of the 1st Legion of the Syrian National Army, "Thaer Ma'rouf" said.
"Maarouf" stated that hundreds of fighters would be sent in batches to reinforce defense points in the entire region from Aleppo to Idlib, where he would supervise the operations room in Idlib, while Captain "Mustafa Kuja," commander of the Northern Command, would take over the operations room west of Aleppo.
Today, Friday, the Ninth division, the "Samarkand" Brigade, and the Northern Brigade of the First National Army Corps sent a batch of their fighters to the rural areas of Aleppo and Idlib, preceded yesterday by a batch of the "Al-Majd" Corps.
It is reported that "National Army" fighters will enter to reinforce the engagement fronts, accompanied by light and medium weapons, in addition to anti-armor missiles with their bases.
