Biografia

Hastapenean Broadwayko antzokietan aritu zen. Hollywoodeko estreinaldia 1935ean egin zuen. Bere lanak 1940ko The Grapes of Wrath filmarekin erakarri zuen arreta. Sei hamarkadatan zehar, Fondak irudi xarmanta bereganatu zuen idealista paperetan jokatzeagatik. Hainbat film klasikotan, hala nola The Ox-Bow Incident, Mister Roberts, eta 12 Angry Men pelikuletan, parte hartu zuen.
